KARACHI: Nishtar road hydrants

KARACHI, Sept 24: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has, under section 144, imposed a ban on supply of water from illegal hydrants located on Nishtar Road.

The Nazim also extended the ban for a week on swimming and fishing in the sea, and on the sale of seafood due to the oil-spill. The ban covers Clifton, Darkhshan, TPX and Dockyard.

FIREWORKS BANNED: The Nazim also imposed ban on manufacture, sale and movement of fireworks, and on aerial firing in wedding ceremonies.—PPI
