QUETTA, Dec 22: Night surveillance equipment has been provided to Pakistan troops deployed at the border with Afghanistan, to check movement of Al-Qaeda members and Taliban leaders, an army official told Dawn here on Friday.
Security has been tightened and helicopters fly over the border area to heep an eye on Taliban and Arab Mujahideen who might try to enter Pakistan. Checkpoints are manned by army and Frontier Corps personnel.
