ISLAMABAD, Sept 20: A Foreign Office spokesman on Saturday dismissed as “factually incorrect” a news report appeared in the Guardian on Sept 18, alleging visit of a Saudi defence team to Pakistani nuclear facilities some four years ago.

“The newspaper article is based on hearsay and rumours...the report is factually incorrect,” said the spokesman when asked for comments on the report.

The spokesman added “any insinuation of Pakistan collaborating with any other country on any aspect of our nuclear programme is pure fiction and baseless”.—APP
