PHF names 44 players for camp

LAHORE, Sept 20: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHA) on Saturday announced the names of the 44 players to attend the training camp for the build up of team for Afro-Asian Games being held from Oct 24-Nov 3 in Hyderabad, India.

The camp will commence from Oct 6 at National Hockey Stadium under the supervision of Manager Abdul Rasheed Junior and Coach Tahir Zaman, said Brig. Musarrat Ullah Khan, secretary, PH.

Following players will attend the camp.

PTCL: Salman Akbar, Tariq Imran, Ghazanfar Ali, Saleem Khalid, Shakeel Abbasi, Imran Rasool, Aqeel Khan, Tariq Yameen, Muhammad Arif, Tariq Aziz, Akhtar Ali.

PIA: Ahmed Alam, Aamir Saleem, Ali Raza. NBP: Zeeshan Ashraf, Muhammad Nadeem, Adnan Maqsood, Zahid Sheikh, Imtiaz, Abdul Aasim Khan, Adnan Zakir, Sumair Saleem.

WAPDA: Rehan Butt, Mudassar Ali Khan, Muhammad Shabbir, Rana Asif, Waseem Ahmed, Sohail Abbas, Mudassar.

HBL: Kashif Jawwad, Sameer Hussain, Imran Khan. ABL: Muhammad Saqlain, Shakir Muneer, Khalid Mahmood.

ARMY: Dilawar Hussain, M.Imran, Muhammad Khalid

SINDH Nasir Ahmed, Ishtiaq Mubeen, Shabbir Ahmed Khan.
