SUKKUR, Sept 20: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has said that the government believes in fair politics, saying it will continue its efforts to stabilize democracy in the country.
Speaking at a gathering of councillors, political, tribal personalities and elite of Jacobabad, Jaferabad and Naseerabad districts at Rojhan Jamali on Saturday evening, he urged the opposition not to show rigidity in its stand.
He said President Pervez Musharraf was putting sincere efforts for the development and progress of the country and that was why the present government wanted to continue his policies.
He said President Musharraf was very keen about the development and prosperity of the province.
The prime minister has come in the area in connection with the October Local Government election.
He said the people of Jaferabad always reposed confidence in the Jamali family and elected their members to serve the people.

Khan Jamali thanked Prime Minister Jamali for taking
keen interest in the development of the district, and held out an assurance that the prime minister’s decision regarding the forthcoming local government election would be acceptable to all the people of the area.
