Three die in accident on Indus Highway

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Sept 20: Two passengers and a bus conductor were killed while 13 others suffered injuries when the vehicle collided with a truck on the Indus Highway, about 16 kilometres from here, on Saturday morning.

Reports said a bus (NWFP-C-2265), coming to Dera Ghazi Khan, collided with a truck (PRN-9865) near a cement factory. Bus conductor Zafar Khan Baloch and two passengers died on the spot.

Of the 13 injured, Talib Husain was taken to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan, in critical condition.

Saddar police did not register a case against the absconding bus driver till last reports came in.
