Marvi Mela from 26th

MITHI, Sept 20: The culture and tourism department is organizing the Marvi Mela here at the sports complex on Sept 26 and 27.

The Sindh minister for culture and tourism, Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani, will inaugurate the two-day fair on Friday at 4pm.

As per the schedule an event of Sindhi-Urdu Mushaira (poetry recital) to be presided over by Murtaza Dadahi, will be held at 9pm on Friday.

At the Marvi seminar, to be presided over by Dr Ghulam Ali Allana on the next day, scholars will read papers on Marvi and her place in the history.

A musical programme has also been arranged on the same day.
