The drive for Driven

Published February 15, 2015

Heartening is the word that comes to mind. Co-productions, as far as films go, are always a welcome sign. They add to the already established film industries portfolio and strengthen the relatively weaker ones.

Last week at a press conference it was announced that a film titled Driven will be made in collaboration between Pakistan, Poland, Russia and the UK. It’s going to be shot in a vintage Mercedes W126 S-Class 1978, hence the title. Its director is Michael Hudson while the cast includes Pakistani actors Javed Sheikh, Adnan Shah, Amna Ilyas, Rehan Sheikh, Najia Baig and Omair Rana.

The producers of the project are Naveed Mahmood and Kamran Faiq (the latter is also a cast member). All the best and remain driven, if you can!
