Pakistan golfers for USA

PESHAWAR, Sept 16: Pakistan has announced a four-member squad to participate in golfing event of the Council of International Sports Military (CISM) to be held in Houston, USA from Oct 12-18.

In this connection three-day trials were held at PAF Golf Course in which top golfers of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy participated.

Team: Wing Commander Pervez Saeed Mir (Pakistan Air Force), Lt. Col. Asif Mehdi (Army), Squadron Leader Taimur Yousaf (PAF) and Lt. Commander Ansar Mehmood.

After a camp training at the same venue, the team will leave for USA on Oct 10, from Islamabad.—APP
