Pakistan announced their 15-man World Cup squad on Wednesday, leaving out Fawad Alam and Umar Gul and including pace bowler Sohail Khan who last played international cricket in 2011.
Veteran batsman Younis Khan, who hit a purple patch in Test cricket but was mediocre in the recent ODIs against New Zealand, was also included in the squad.
Left-hand middle-order batsman Fawad Alam, who has been Pakistan's most reliable ODI batsman of late, will feel unlucky to have missed out, the selectors instead preferring another player in similar mould, Haris Sohail.
“We did consider both of them [Fawad and Malik], but in the end we believe Haris Sohail bowled well in the series against New Zealand with his left-arm bowling,” chief selector Moin Khan said.
“He also gives us an added advantage of being a left-handed batsman.”
Fast bowler Junaid Khan also returned from a knee injury after missing the series against New Zealand, and will lead Pakistan's pace attack with Mohammad Irfan.
Pakistan, placed in Group B, will open its campaign with a highly-charged clash against arch-rivals and defending champions India in Adelaide on February 15 followed by matches against the West Indies, Zimbabwe, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Ireland.
The top four teams from each of the two groups will qualify for the quarter-finals, leading up to the final in Melbourne on March 29.
Khan said the team was selected after consultation with Misbah and coach Waqar Younis.
“We selected the squad after thorough consultation... and although no one can give assurances of results, we are hopeful that the team will do well,” said Khan, a member of Pakistan's only World Cup winning side in Australia in1992.

Omission of Fawad Alam and inclusion of Sohail indicates, you dont need to be consistent to play world cup. I think Imran Khan and Umer Gul are better pace bowlers than Sohail Khan, Ehsan Adil and Wahab Riaz. Sharjeel Khan should have been included to add some left hand combination in batting line up.

Why no fawwad alam? First time I have seen a squad without a reserve batsman (other than Umer Akmal) and an all rounder. Do not understand why haven't they picked a fast bowling all rounder. Very disappointed.

Bravo to PCB for being stupidly consistent & selecting 1) useless Hafeez, watch what happens when he faces a bowler who can bowl on the off stump & this doesn't include Styn, Johnson or some of the Newzealanders or England, 2) outdated YK - what can any one say about YK & his ODI career - I am shocked YK being a good character doesn't pull out himself?
One thing is for sure betting syndicates will have an easy ride on these two!!!

This is rubbish. What selectors have done while sitting for many days? Fawad is in good form and who is this Sohail Khan? Never heard of him. After this performance from selector who will say that this team can beat India? What charm we have in WC is the first match. Rest we all know this team has no potential of winning matches in Australian grounds.

It's unlucky less buy more biased attitude of respected Pcb members not including real talent and team man Fawad Alam, and instead preferred am over hyped lobbying king animal over him. Though hard Sohaib is a right choice but why they did not include Junaid Khan instead of new comer Sohaib khan, and even if they wanted to include him why they did nit elect him against recent Aus and Nz series. This won't end up in a winning combination when they are preFerring out of firm and mediocre hafeez when any other younger talent like Babar Alam could be a lot better choice. Cricket is going down in Pakistan because we are not going on merit basis but on persoral likes basis and former record basis not on current form. I have doubt about inclusion of Younus Khan but time will prove his inclusion right or wrong.

I am happy that Selection committee did not listen to popular remarks and did a wise thing to leave out Fawad Alam. He is always totally clueless when the situation demands putting pressure on bowlers by big hitting. And this situation arises far too often. Fawad Alam tends to give the strike to much lower order batsmen in these situations.

Bowling attack is too weak to get 10 wickets. Batting is to brittle, end result will be first round exit. If we are lucky, maybe we will win a game or two. The team selection is just for the first round. Irfan is not fit enough to play more than 4 matches in 10 days. Take him out of attack and every team will score 275 plus and we will be out under 175 on every match. Hafeez's selection is total incompetence on part of the selectors. He will not score more than 75 runs in all the matches combined, that too if he is lucky. Let's hope for the next World Cup because this one we lost already with team selection. Not a single all rounder for the World Cup? Selectors must be really dumb. I bet all other teams will have at least 1 all rounder in every game. Matches are not won just on the field. You have to use your brains and choose right players for the right games. We have already lost one part with poor selection. Very disappointing.

The selection isn't too bad given the current crop we have.. But cannot agree with dropping fawad alam who could've easily replaced Hafeez or Younus and would've given us an extra bowling option.
Anyway, no shoaib, kamran, tanveer, anwar, shafiq is good news.
No matter what happens at the World Cup, Misbah and Younus should follow Afridi's example and retire after the tournament so players like fawad alam, harries sohail, shoaib maqsood etc can play a more permanent role in the middle order in future.

@Mudassar Siddiq I would advise you to check Fawad Alam's record. He has the best domestic record in Pakistan and made an exceptional debut in test cricket as well as ODIs.. His record is better than any of the current middle order batsmen in the Pakistan team.
Don't judge a player on a match or two alone, look at fawad Alam's career domestically and internationally and his record is second to none in Pakistan.

There’s no disagreeing to the fact that Fawad is a “good” player…it seems a wise decision to opt him out of the team given the current crop of players we have…he is too slow and doesn’t have the hitting power when situation demands…now imagine, Younus at (3), Misbah (4) Alam (5), these three will bat out 30 overs between them scoring 80-90 runs which will build more pressure on Akmal, Afridi & Co who only play when they’re not under any pressure…I don’t see my team lifting the cup…but wait, isn’t this what the people said about Imran’s cornered tigers?? Though this team is far behind in talent as compared with Imran’s team…let’s all back these guys to do good & forget about Sindhi, Punjabi debate which is going on,

Thanks for not including Shoaib Malik. Fawad Alam may be good at domestic level but not good enough at the international level. Shohab Maqsood, Harris Sohail and Yasir Shah are very good inclusion. Muhammad Hafeez without bowling is a liability on team so as Younis Khan. Misbah needs to come out of his defensive shell by taking bold and innovative decisions. He must bat at no 2 and should not hide behind junior players in batting order. Sarfraz Ahmed should bat at no 3 in all matches. Shohab Maqsood and Umar Akmal must play all the matches.

I alongwith many other members of cricket lovers disappointed over the squad announced for world cup 2015. inclusion of sarfraz ahmad and yasir shah in place of inform Kamran Akmul and Raza Hassan is not on merit which may cause some damage to the overall performance in world cup. Shoab Malik in place of Junaid Khan should have been given a chance who is capable of giving good performance in conditions of Australia/Newzeland.

@pakistani it is because for some "expensive" reason they have been blind towards the huge differences between his performances and others. I was expecting this because of the pattern:
just look at the difference between the averages and strike rates of fawad vs Hafeez, Younis, Asad Shafiq and Shehzad.
Same happened against Australia and NZL,
-Fawad (averages 57 in FC and 41 in tests) was excluded but Asad Shafiq (averages 39 in FC and 40 in tests) was in.
Shan Masood (FC average as low as 34) was in.
- Same is true for ODIs. Fawad's average (45) and strike rate (75) are better than Shehzad, Hafeez, Younis, Shafiq and many others.
They have always managed to kill the merit. They have already wasted many years of Fawad's career. Sometimes it is Umar Amin and sometimes Shan Masood. Atleast this time it is better i.e. hafeez, younis.
Why hafeez with no bowling in? Every kid knows hafeez is duck outside Asia.
I will support NZL for WC now.

How was Hafeez selected? Our selectors have noticed Hafeez performance in the UAE only . His average in one day internationals is 30 after playing 153 one day internationals (thanks to playing most of his matches on the flat wickets of UAE). His average against Australia is 17. He would struggle on the bouncy wickets.

@muhammad . We do not need any more Sheet Anchors in the form of Fawad Alam. Our main batting is already based on this loser mindset of playing a sheet anchor role. This is not a test cricket. Fawad Alam`s ODI strike rate is 75.05% which means a team total of 225 which is definitely not a winning score at all these days. Secondly, a lower middle order batsman is supposed to accelerate the run rate which in Pakistan`s case is always in a bad shape due to BIG sheet Anchors like Misbah and Younis. And also, Fawad has hit only 6 sixes in 35 ODI`s i.e. an average of 1 six after every 6 matches. It is far too less than the requirement.

Strike rates of ODI`s of the Lower Middle odder of the current squad are: Sarfaraz ahmed (85.20%), Harris Sohail (80.69%),, Umar Akmal (86.67%), Shoaib Maqsood (83.01%), Shahid Afridi (116.29%), Wahab Riaz (75.99%). Fawad Alam is at 75.05% which means he is the lowest when compared with all others at his position. What do you say?

@Amir Khan it is very easy to make comments without ever. For your information both Moin khan and sohail khan were only playing from Karachi . While Fawad was born and live and play from Karachi. Check records with open eyes and heart. Regardless of your claim. Only 2 out of 15 players were selected that are in some sense from karachi. While remaining are either from Lahore or rest of punjab. Do you think its fair? In 2010 of spot fixing match 8 out of 10 players were from Lahore. Check records. Are they being honest. Everyone knows decisions are being taken by najam sethi who is also from Lahore.

@Mudassar Siddiq I say sarfraz and Umar Akmal should be playing at the top of the order along with Shehzad.. Most teams in modern day cricket play batsmen with 80+ strike rate as their top 3. And fawad should've played in the middle order instead of Younus because he has much better record in limited overs than Younus (internationally and domestically), is a better fielder and gives us an extra bowling option which Paksitan is in dire need of.
Or the other scenario would've been, If Hafeez doesn't clear his action replace him with fawad instead who again is a better batsman, fielder and can bowl.

Team selection looks fine. In Batting Younus, Hafiz and Misbah are the weaker and in Bowling Ehsan Adil and Yasir Shah can be replace with Rahat Ali / Talha and Raza hasan / Zulfiqar Baber.

Please give me one reason why Fawad Alam is not selected for the world cup?
Why Sohail Khan has been included in the world cup squad? What has he done to deserve a place.
Why Ehsan Adil is in the team? What we have seen of him in the New Zealand test series he is an average bowler. If he was good enough to play ODIs, why he was not selected for the ODIs against NZ? Why now?
Umer Gul would have been a better choice but since he is having fitness issues both Rahat Ali and Imran Khan would have been a better choice then Sohail Khan and Ehsan Adil.
With Wahab Riaz being extremely expensive whenever he bowls our bowling lineup seems very weak.
A left arm spinner like Raza Hassan or Zulfiqar Babbar could have been a nice addition instead of Sohail Khan or Ehsan Adil.
I am not a professional cricketer. I would love to see what experts has to say about this selection. I am personally disappointed.
That being said, my best wishes and prayers will always be with Pakistan.

Good that Sohail Tanvir was dropped, he concedes too many runs on both ends of the innings and lacks pace and line and length. Surprisingly good selection this, would have loved to see Fawad in and Muhammad Hafeez out because based on his record, Hafeez will fail miserably, Fawad is a dependable batsman and can bowl a bit which Hafeez cannot.
Also, We probably needed another spinner in Babar.

Our tigers of 1992 took on every opportunity that came their way and each player took on responsibility and played as though he had nothing to lose. However, today's mindset is that "I need to do the bare minimum to justify my position in the team and that someone else in the team will win the game for us." With that attitude, we would be lucky to qualify for the semis.

I don't know Sohail Khan's recent abilities but the selectors did good job not select Fawad and Umer Gul because Fawad technique can
not work on the australian pitches and his bowling is mediocre as far as Umer Gul is concerned his form and fitness is not up to the mark since long.I have never seen him containing the batsmen.

They are experienced and have international exposure,only inducting the raw-talent or performers at domestic level in the WC squad, and that is on the australian pitches,can not win you a world cup.
I think the selectors have done a great job out of the best available lot by selecting some experienced and young talent who already have exposure to international cricket.Shoaib Malik could have been handy in Austarlia as he he participates in Big Bash league.

@A Pakistani sir junaid khan(swabi), yasir shah(swabi), sohail khan(karachi), Afridi (karachi), younis khan (karachi) and Sarfraz Ahmed (karachi) are not from punjab (60% pop). Even any of the three selectors are not from Punjab Although I feel there is a need to expand the game in less developed areas of the country. Lets hope they bring the cup home!.

Hard luck FAWAD ALAM. Any possibility of good showing in the world cup is got hijacked by the PCB who did not have gutts to refuse Younis Khan, and the selection committee who are gambling on Hafeez to be cleared, and prefered Ehsan Adil over experinced hands of Sohail Tanveer and Umar Gul. And then chose Yasir Shah over Zulfiqar Baber and Raza Hasan even when Yasir is a total failure in limited over games. They are so much defensive concerning batting that Yasir Shah's 6 fifties in 110 first class innings counted heavily.
Now that the choices are already made, I just hope that some senses prevail and they bat Hafeez down the order and open with Sarfraz.

For God sake select Fawad Alam, he is run getter, even NZ, Aus. and SL commentator and experts praise him for his ability to get runs and rotate strike, he is far better batsmen than most selected in this team. He was always given chance in critical matches to deliberately make him fail, but he still did excellent expect for a game or two. This is total injustice with him.

It's very good chance for Umer Akmal,Sohaib Maqsood,Afridi,Harris ,and Ahmed Shehzad to utilize their talent,they can score consistently like Virat Kohli.I remember Umer,Shehzad,and Kohli made international debut together but he excelled all others.

Very poor team selection. What has Umar Akmal and Wahb Riaz have done recently to deserve their selection in the team? I don't recall when Umar Akmal last scored a fifty in ODIs. Wahab Riaz also had done nothing. I feel sorry for Fawad Alam being not selected. This is the team based on favoratism and not on merit. With this team Pakistan is not going very far in the tournament, probably out in the first round.

It is very funny that you determine a player's worthiness for ODI by the number of 6s that player has hit. Extremely flawed and funny logic, my friend. A good ODI player will be CONSISTENT, adjust his game according to the situation, score runs and bring his team to safety by hitting 4s and 6s when needed and Fawad fits the bill perfectly. Go back and see his performance in the Asia Cup that was held in Bangladesh when he had pleasantly surprised all of us. There is no doubt that injustice has been done by excluding him from WC squad. BTW, Shahid Afridi hits 6s but he rarely lasts beyond 25 balls and outside of an occasional flash in the pan, he get out cheaply trying to hit a 6.

Domestic performances do really matter a lot but you cannot draft a bowler for THE WORLD CUP who last played international cricket 4 years ago. If the dumb stupid selectors thought Sohail Khan was so consistently good which he has been then they should have picked him for the nz series. In 2013 the selection committee headed by Mr. Iqbal Qasim did not include Shahid Afridi and took Imran Farhat to the Champion Trophy in England. We all know the reasult and the disaster which was Imran Farhat. Pakistanis would remember the exclusion of Fawad Alam as he will be back in the team after the WC when all the selectors and coaches would be fired.

Perhaps Pakistani selectors must take courses on Team Building, they have developed a habit of temporary or make shift selection, this strategy goes against long term goals. No wonder why Pakistan Cricket Team is unable to perform according to its potential and talent wasted, especially batsmen require more time to settle in the team.
I support Pakistan cricket team but their chances of success are very slim due to unsettled and weak batting line-up and hardly any dependable all rounder. Shahid Afridi peaked off long time ago and Misbah is too defensive both as captain and batsman not good for One Day format, also he has not been able to utilize bowling strength properly. @Mudassar Siddiq So your logic about strike rate is also flawed. You think that the higher the strike rate the better the batsman is. Well, what if a batsman scores 20 runs on 10 balls and gets out (Shahid Afridi scenario). His strike rate is 200 but he scored only 20 runs which surely will not win the match for the team. Great gimmick of statistics and numbers. Once again CONSISTENCY, staying at the crease, and scoring the runs is the key.
Moin Khan & Sheryar Khan: Zaban-e-Khulq ko Naqqara-e-Khuda Samjho. All these folks who have commented on the WC team selection news have overwhelmingly felt that injustice has been done by not selecting Fawad Alam. We are not related to Fawad Alam nor we have a vested interest in his selection. It is purely a matter of merit and we regret his exclusion. We may not be the test or ODI or T20 players but follow Cricket passionately and understand the game sufficiently that we can see and recognize the error. I hope that it is an error in judgement or oversight and you guys should fix it immediately. We want Pakistan to win the World CUP once again!

After the defeat in the Champion trophy in 2013 England we finally got rid of Imran Farhat. After the W-t-20 - 2014 defeat we got rid of Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik. The 2015 WC will be the last series for Younsu Khan, Hafeez, Misbah, Umar Akmal, Sohail Khan, Ehsan Adil and Wahab Riaz. But we will also be rid of Waqar Younus, Ijaz Ahmad, Moin Khan and Shaharyar Khan once for all. After the WC Shahid Afridi will be asked to take back his retirement and re-build the team.

@yasir Hi buddy, before you comment it is important to get your facts right, Younis Khan (Mardan), Afridi (Khyber agency) and Sohail Khan (NWFP) , while they play for teams in Karachi they are not originally from Sindh. whereas Fawad and Sarfraz both are Karachi born. This partiality on part of PCB will ruin Cricket in Pakistan.

Pakistan's top 4, had Fawad been included at the expense of Hafeez would have been a better option.
And then, there is no point of a big hitter when your top order fails, which Hafeez will. As @Sample10 said, end of over no.1, Pakistan 2/1 Last Wicket: Hafeez 2(4).

I would not blame Moin for the baffling omission of Fawad Alam but he should have guts to take a stand for such a fighting and talented player. Clearly, the coach and captain both wanted him out partly for the ever present ethnic biasedness and partly because fawad has a personality like Younis Khan who do not tolerate any unreasonable attitude so despite being the best performed for Pakistan in ODIs in 2014, he has been dumped out in favour of players who have just camback from injury without playing any matches like Sohaib Maqsood and player like Younis and Misbah who would keep on blocking the path of young cricketers until they turn 50 years old and Hafeez who do not merit a place in team just based on his highly inconsistent batting
It will be a big shame if we cannot make it to QFs but you can expect anything from Pakistan

I think picking up Sohail Khan is a good gamble. As Australians and other teams have not data of his bowling. If Sohail listens to Waqar Younis as a senior (which Pakistani player don't do the seniors after a single performance), I good believe SK will sail Pakistan through tough matches. But Pakistan batting will be a disaster once again for sure. Pakistan management should hire one more player who will identify the ball for the batsmen esp. of fast bowlers of Aus, Eng & SA.

But I only mentioned the strike rates of few for the consumption of the people who were claiming that Fawad`s strike rate is one of the highest. Which in fact is one of the lowest.
Secondly, Fawad can only come in in-place of either Misbah or Younis Khan. No team can afford to have 3 tuk tuk in a row. Since PCB does not have the courage to exclude Younis, so they only have to do it with Fawad. He can not be added in place of Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi or Ahmed Shahzad. So, cool down guys, there is no vacancy for Fawad Alam.

Inclusion of Yasir shah & sohail khan proved that the selectors were giving a chance to non deserving players as both never played any one day international in past few years.
For bowlers better than Wahab Riaz, plz have a look for bowling of Tabish khan, Mir Hamza, Zia ul Haq,we all are Pakistani and want Pakistan to win. But a fair chance should be given to evey player.

It is only Sarfarz Ahmed is selected from Karachi just because his performance was above than merit much better than his own captain...Just review last 15 innings of Umar Akmal and compare with Fawad on cricinfo... You don't even bother to comment...

Living in lala land... dude, Hafeez, Shehzad, Younis and Misbah's batting average AND strike rate are both lower than Fawad Alam's. Yet, just coz you have seen these players hit boundaries, it makes you think that these guys play faster????

One other fact missed out about Fawad Alam:
5- Fawad Alam has the highest strike rotation rate of ANY Pakistan player EVER to have played more than 25 ODIs for Pakistan. That means, he plays the FEWEST Dot Balls, even less than the great Miandad!!!

I cannot understand the criticism of Afridi. In the absence of ajmal and hafeez in spin bowling department, he is the one pakistan will rely heavily and his performance with bat in last series also confirmed that he deserves the place in team
Only in Pakistan, a player with a batting average above 40 and strike rate above 75 can be omitted to include old war horses like misbah, younis and hafeez and pompous but proven failures like Umar Akmal
Shame on Moin Khan, Waqar and Misbah for destroying the career of another talented Karachi cricketer!

@Ossy. Oh Dear. Hafeez, Shahzad, Misbah and Younis plays up the order where they are required to focus more on building up instead of scoring fast. On the other hand Fawad bats at a position where you are required to go at least 7 an over. Fawad is NOT capable to bat with this kind of challenge and this is the reason of his exclusion. He should have understood that and so do you.

@Ossy And one other fact missed out about Fawad Alam. In a recently done survey by DAWN, majority (42%) of the voters said that it is better to include Haris Sohail in place of your Fawad Alam. Whilst 37% is against this idea. Remaining 21% are Not-sure

Since my earlier message wasn't printed, resending some "FACTS" about Fawad Alam:
1- Fawad's ODI batting average of 45.14 is HIGHER than any Pakistani to have played cricket for Pakistan, except Zaheer Abbas. Fawad's average is more than: Inzi; Saeed Anwar; Javed; Misbah; and every player in Pakistan W/Cup squad.
2- Fawad's ODI strike rate of 75 is HIGHER than Ahmed Shehzad; Hafeez; Younis; and Misbah - the top 4 players in Pakistan team. Mind you, Hafeez and Shehzad play the batting power play as openers and yet score slower than Fawad.
3- Fawad's first class batting average of 56.90 is HIGHER than any Pakistan player EVER in the domestic cricket.
4- Fawad is one of the most gritty batsmen Pakistan has seen. Even ppl who think that he cannot hit boundaries agree that Fawad does not give away his wicket cheaply. Yet, you should all be shocked that Fawad has played ONLY 4 Test matches???.

@Ossy Remember in 1992 Javed Miandad was not selected in the team for the WC. Later due to media and MQM pressure Asif Ali Zardari and BB met Miandad at the VIP lounge in Karachi and persuaded him to join the team at the last minute. Simialr action needs to be taken to include Fawad Alam.

@Mudassar Siddiq Fawad should have been considered in place of Sohaib Maqsood or Hafeez and Rizwan in place of Umar Akmal.. selector Moain Khan is not consistent with his statement. He says he selected Sohail Khan on merit because of his domestic performance at the same time he discards Rizwan who has been in tremendous form and takes out of form Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Akmal and Hafeez. How can you justify that.

@A Pakistani It is not important from where a player belongs. it is important to select palyers on merit. Fawad justified his selection on merit. He is a better fielder, can bowl and is a man of crisis with best average among his team mates. I hope the Pakistan team wins the WC and all these players perform but if these bunch fails like Imran Farhat failed in the Champion Trophy the selector Iqbal Qassim lost his job as he preferred Imran Farhat over Afridi.
Afridi and Younus Khan won the w-t-20 in 2009 England. Just remember the public opinion has always been right. People all over the country are unhappy over Fawad non selection.

Younus Khan don't deserve to be in this world cup. As we all know Fawad is a very talented batsman and fielder and his fitness is remarkable. He is the veteran player and have lot of good experience to take the team out from crises. I'm really feel sorry for Fawad and I request Younus Khan to please think about his retirement and give the opportunity to youngsters to be in team.Overlall I wish Pakistan team all the best to world cup and my prayers with Pakistan team.

@optimist .. I agree that it is not important from where the players are belong. My answer was for those who were claiming that the decision was made by people from Karachi and they have selected the players from Karachi. Based on their logic Junaid khan is from Punjab as he used to play from Abbatabad (Punjab).
Fawad should be selected based only on his performance regardless of where he is from.

I think, this is reasonably a good team. i wish, there was an off spinner. But, I agree with Moin to shoot with leggie who is wicket taker rather than just run saver. The risk of taking just 2 openers may hurt, if Hafeez falls back into his usual edgy innings. Sarfraz is good option, but is a great #6 or 7 batsmen. I think, he is the perfect replacement of Wasim Akram ('92) as batsmen and has demonstrated his ability at that position better. Taking Younis is fine. Pakistan has chronic problem of serious batting collapses as soon as the openers are down. We need someone to play out the initial 10 overs without losing wickets. On many occasions, Younis finds himself opening when one of the opener is down in first couple of overs. The role Imran Khan tried to fullfil in '92. The bowling attack is good. I wish, Irfan remains fit for the whole tournament. Finally, good luck Pakistan. we will need it badly!

Recent performances of subcontinent teams do not auger well for them in coming world cup. After seeing the results of Ind Vs Aus, Pak vs NZ and Srilanka vs NZ , I am not hopeful of India, Pakistan and Srilanka doing anything but struggle.

PCB please replace Hafeez with Fawad. Hafeez is a sitting duck on bouncy wickets- remember against Styne 12 scores of single digit. Without his bowling, it is just ludicrous to select him. Equally unjust is Fawad's exclusion with best ODI avg and his resent form. He can also bowl and an excellent fielder.
The entire selection committee and PCB decision makers MUST be hold responsible if Hafeez fails as expected!
