HYDERABAD: Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the department will encourage anyone who points out ghost teachers as the government is trying its best to make it binding on teachers to be present at schools.

He urged teachers to devote themselves to educating children of the nation. Copy culture could be curbed with joint efforts of the government, parents and teachers, he said while speaking at an open kutchehry in Tando Allahyar and later at the education office in Mirpurkhas on Monday.

MIRPURKHAS: Talking to journalists after inaugurating the official website of the directorate of the education department, the minister said the candidates who had passed the NTS-conducted job test were being appointed with a precondition that they would not opt for transfer till three years. Besides, no candidate would be posted on ‘detailment’ basis in other schools, he added.

A total of 2,186 offer letters and appointment orders of PST and JST were distributed among candidates of Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar and Sanghar.
