KARACHI, Sept 12: Muhammad Ali Zafar, Tabish Khan and Faraz Patel shared ten wickets between them as Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) forced Multan to follow- on in their PCB Inter-regional Under-19 cricket championship tie at Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Park, Steel Town Friday.

Responding to KCCA’s massive first innings score of 375 for five wickets in restricted 90 over of first innings, Multan were bowled out for 209 in 80.1 overs, giving a huge 166 runs first innings lead to Karachi.

After being forced a follow-on, Multan were 55 for the loss of two wickets in their second innings on the second-day of their three-day match. Pacemen duo of Sharif Asadullah and Tabish Khan picked up one wicket each.

Right arm leg spinner Muhammad Ali Zafar captured five wickets for 33 runs in 27.1 overs with 14 maidens. Tabish Khan snapped three wickets for 71 runs in 15 overs of his pace bowling.

Opener Rameez Alam made an attractive 80 with the aid of 12 boundaries.

Usman Hashmat, cracked a fine 62 laced with six 4s and one six, added 110 runs for the fourth wicket.
