LAHORE: The Cecil & Iris Chaudhry Foundation (CICF) is deeply shocked and grieved over the brutality of the attack on the Army Public School, Peshawar.

“We at the CICF condemn this heinous attack and demand the KP government that it should respond to failure in protecting the lives of innocent children and teachers,” said Michelle Chaudhry, president of the CICF.

“The memory of the Church attacks at Kohati gate Peshawar that killed over 127 worshippers is still fresh in our minds and here we are once again preparing for mass burial, this time of little children.

They have hit at the heart of the nation; mere condemnation is not enough and it is pivotal that federal and provincial governments set aside their constituency-oriented goals and jointly work on a strategy to defeat human massacre caused by terrorism,” Ms Chaudhry stated.

“We stand in complete solidarity with the bereaved families and hold deep in our hearts all those who lost their precious lives in this horribly tragic incident today,” she said.
