KARACHI, Sept 11: City Nazim Naimatullah Kahn has banned manufacturing, sale and transportation of explosive material besides arial firing under section 144 in the city.

This step has been taken after receiving the reports that the majority of traders are involved in manufacturing and accumulation of explosives material in prohibited areas which are congested and have multi-storiey buildings

Police have been directed to take action if any one violates the directives.

Meanwhile, the anti-adulteration department of the city government conducted raids in different parts of the city and took samples of different eatables which were sent to the city government’s food laboratory for testing.—PPI
