KARACHI, Sept 9: Sindh Ombudsman Justice Haziqul Khairi has taken notice of delay in the issuance of mark sheets to students.

In response to an appeal made by the professors, lecturers and parents of students against the non-issuance of mark sheets and certificates for Class XI by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad, the Ombudsman asked the secretary of the board and the registrar of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro to appear before him on Sept 13 at 11.00 am.

The marks certificated are required by the students to qualify for their entrance test at Cadet College Pitaro and other colleges.

The students claimed that the results of class XII were announced on Aug 20, but thousands of students have not received their mark sheets and certificates which are to be submitted by the students with their admission forms.—PPI
