DHAKA, Dec 20: President Pervez Musharraf has cancelled a planned stopover in Dhaka next week on his way home from a visit to China, a Bangladesh foreign ministry statement said on Thursday.
“Due to a change in his travel plans, the President of Pakistan will not be able to make the stopover at Dhaka on Dec 24,” it said. The president had been due to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia during his brief stop.—Reuters
