Sona Golf commences

RAHIM YAR KHAN: The two-day 14th Sona Invitational Golf Tournament commenced here at the Golf Course Goth Machi near Sadiqabad on Saturday with over a hundred players of nine different golf clubs taking part in six different categories of the tournament including amateur, gents, ladies, professionals, children and veterans. The event is being played over 36 holes.

Players from Garrison Golf Club Lahore, Multan Golf Club, Sunset Golf Club Bahawalpur, Mehran Golf Club Pannu Aqil Cant, Sona Golf Club, Goth Machi and teams of Fauji Fertilizer Company Mirpur Mathelo, Fatma Fertilizer Company Rahim Yar Khan and Kepco are participating in the event.

Two foreigners namely Lee Ki Duk and Anttan Ke Um from Kepco are also among the contestants. Resident Manager Fauji Fertilizer Company Brigadier (retd) Abdul Wahid Ali Khan inaugurated the tournament.
