KARACHI: Woman commits suicide

KARACHI, Sept 8: A middle-aged woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in Mehmoodabad on Monday.

Police said that Mrs Hanifa, 45, residing in Manzoor Colony, Mahmoodabad, ended her life by hanging.

The victim was mentally upset as she had no children, the police quoting the family sources said.

Her body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for the post-mortem examination.
