BANGALORE, Sept 7: Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has revenge in mind ahead of home series against New Zealand and Australia.
They will play two Tests against the Kiwis, before all three sides take part in a one-day series.
“We’ve been working hard at our training camp here and are confident of doing well,” Ganguly said in Bangalore.
India endured a miserable tour to New Zealand at the start of the year, losing both Tests on seamer-friendly wickets and going down 5-2 in the one-dayers.
“We’re determined to make amends this time,” said Ganguly. “Let’s see how quickly New Zealand adjust to conditions here.”—PPI
