SUKKUR, Aug 30: A woman was killed by two armed men in Faizabad colony, Khairpur the other day.

The two men entered the house of assistant sub-registrar, Sukkur, Manzoor Ahmed Shaikh, and snatched gold locket and bangles from his wife, Mubeena Shaikh. When she offered resistance, the armed men opened fire on her, killing her on the spot. A case was registered at the T- section police station, Khairpur.—BoC
