HYDERABAD, Aug 29: Six-day-long events in different disciplines of Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Hyderabad Festival 2003 start at various sports centres on Saturday.

According to an announcement of District Sports Officer Hyderabad, two-day-long events of badminton (men) will start from Saturday at MCB Badminton Hall adjacent Niaz Stadium.

At the same venue, women’s events will be organised on Sept 1-2.

Basketball events for men will be held at Sindh Sports Board Complex on Sept 1-2, body-building will be held at Jamia Arabia Bodybuilding Club on Sept 4, Karate will be organised at Mehran Arts Council Latifabad on Sept 5, shooting ball events will be held at Wapda Sports Ground on Sept 3-4, Squash at Hyderabad Gymkhana on Sept 3-4.

Two-day table tennis events for men will begin from Saturday at Barkat Bhai Table Tennis Hall while at the same venue the women events will be organised on Sept 1-2.

Two-day volleyball competitions for men will also start Saturday at Sarwari Volleyball Court Hussainabad while women competitions will be held at Shah Latif Government Girls College Latifabad on Sept 3-4—APP
