NEW DELHI, July 20: Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will discuss counter-terrorism and defence cooperation with Indian leaders during a visit to the country in September, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported on Sunday.

Sharon’s three-day visit, due to begin on Sept 9, would be the first by an Israeli prime minister since the two countries established full diplomatic relations 11 years ago.

The Israeli leader is also likely to be accompanied by a high-level business delegation, the news agency said, quoting unidentified sources in Tel Aviv.—Reuters
