Races put off until Wednesday

KARACHI, July 20: The Summer Gymkhana Race Meeting scheduled to be held at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday afternoon, was called off and postponed for Wednesday afternoon, due to heavy rain in the city.

After Saturday’s early morning downpour, was programme was still scheduled for Sunday afternoon, but the deluge the city received once again early Sunday morning, forced the race officials with no alternative but to postpone the meeting till Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday’s card will have the same field that was on Sunday’s programme.
