Militants kill five FC soldiers in Balochistan

QUETTA: Armed militants gunned down five security personnel in Balochistan's resource-rich Dukki area during pre-dawn hours on Thursday, officials said.
A security official, who requested anonymity since he was not authorised to speak to media, said gunmen attacked with automatic weapons a check-post of the Frontier Corps paramilitary force in Dukki area of Loralai district.
He said another FC soldier deployed at the check-post sustained serious bullet wounds.
“The assailants sped away in their vehicle after the deadly assault,” he said.
The injured man was immediately hospitalised.
A large contingent of FC and local administration reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway.
The paramilitary FC force was deployed in the Dukki, which is rich in coal and mineral resources, in the aftermath of increasing tribal disputes.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Why does the media report these events, does this not subvert the investigations. Its time our media follow international protocols on what can be reported and what cannot. They have in essence played into the militants hand and glamorished their terrorist acts. Come on guys! dont fall into their traps! Also, media should remind these so called anonymous officials to keep their trap shut!

Look I am not a fundamentalist but not pro operation.
The operation unfortunately is not a success. Those of you who thinks it's a success are unaware of the pattern of war in these areas. If you were expecting that there will be conventional war then you are ignorant. Off course Pak Army is superior in terms of arms and capacity to them. Like all armies they are going to exhaust very soon and after that comes the beating, unfortunately. Many of you might disagree and I personally respect your opinion but watch and see how all this unfolds. You might realise then what I was saying.
My prayers are for the dead personnel and I feel they were victims of a wrong policy by the people at position of powers. May Allah give them jannah.

Need to ban the carrying and use of arms by non-police/non-military personal. I hope we catch these murderers and punish them. Should also show pictures of their families in the newspaper and ostracize them publicly so that future criminals/militants know that their actions will carry repercussions!

Taliban have publicly started their activities in Loralai District including Duki and Mekhtar. They are distributing pamphlets, warning schools and NGO offices and recently they Killed a security personel (civilan), 4 ladies and a policeman deployed for the security polio worker. Things are getting away from the control of Govt. But the Govt has taken no step against these cowards and they terrorists are now trying to control Pashtuns areas of Balochistan. So Govt, please take firm steps to stop this evil at start. Thanks.

I think Terrorist Talibans are just relocating their area in Pakistan.
After the settle i am sure Pakistan will have a bad time for long term.
Talibans are the worst, it's not easily removed because they live among normal people and strike back.
This terror game will continue for many years as Army started this and it won't end very soon.

All sorts of weapons in the hands of civilians in Pakistan MUST be declared unlawful and confiscated to restore law & order in country. Security forces should wipe out/arrest all who do not follow the law. Is it possible in Pakistan?

Such tragic incident was eminent as TTP strengthened itself in pukhtoon areas especially in district loralai .It was whispered in dukki before some months that banned organization has its members moving in the tehsil without any check. They are still collecting funds to strengthen themselves. Some people of tehsil dukki playing their active role in supporting them by giving them money so that to use them for their heinous designs. The location of check post was an eye sore for a prominent person of dukki that is why he maneuvered to oust them so that to usurp the expensive coal land.
