KARACHI: Bank restrained

KARACHI, July 12: Justice Maqbool Baqar of Sindh High Court has ordered the Soneri Bank not to confirm sale of mortgaged property of M/s Phoenix Mills, Karachi, owned by Subaktageen Majeed, till July 25, 2003.

The judge also issued notice to the bank for July 25 after hearing Nafees Siddiqui, counsel of plaintiff, who submitted that his client had paid Rs900,272 towards mark-up for period from December 2002 to March 28, 2003 to the Bank on May 18, 2003.— PPI
