KARACHI: SBP denies banning union

KARACHI, July 12: The State Bank of Pakistan has termed “incorrect and misleading” the press reports that it has banned trade union activities.

An SBP press release on Saturday said it had not put any ban on trade union activities.

It said the SBP had maintained cordial relationship with the outgoing CBA, and was looking forward to a similar relationship when the new trade bodies registered and elected through elections. —PPI
