Three cars, wagon hijacked

FAISALABAD, July 7: Unidentified bandits made off with thousands of rupees in cash and other valuables and hijacked three cars, a mini-wagon and a truck and also injured a shopkeeper in 10 different strikes during the last 24 hours.

Two bandits stormed into a shop in Sheikh Colony and snatched thousands of rupees in cash from its owner, Muhammad Saleem. The outlaws shot and injured the shopkeeper when he put up resistance. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

Armed highwaymen hijacked a taxi cab at Chak 78-GB and fled with the vehicle after torturing its driver on resistance.

A gang of masked bandits snatched thousands of rupees in cash and other valuables from PTCL employees during a dacoity in the telephone exchange on Faisalabad-Jaranwala Road.

Armed dacoits snatched thousands of rupees in cash and a licensed weapon from the house of Mehmood Sajjad in Nishatabad.

Unknown thieves took away cables worth thousands of rupees from the store of Wasa near Jhal Khanuana.

Armed bandits looted thousands of rupees in cash, ornaments and other valuables from Sabir Husain’s house in Johar Colony.

A local trader, Muhammad Jawed, was deprived of his mini-wagon (FDY-1979) by armed robbers in Gulfishan Colony.

Unknown vehicle-lifters took away a car of Akbar from Gulbahar Colony and another car of Azam from Sargodha Road.
