Coastal belt

THE various communities living in the coastal belt of Badin have no facility for clean drinking water and have a shortage of food. Besides, they are without health facility. Many villages in the outskirts of the belt like the Rebari community in the Lakhoo Rebari village and Union Council Nindo Shaher are without any electricity.The region needs to be developed in many ways. Schools should be constructed with the help of Unesco, Unicef, UNDP-GEF SGP, etc

Pollution in the form of poisonous smoke from different industries like oil and gas is adding to environmental hazards and is affecting the health of the people. The rise in the level of the sea is leading to land degradation and putting cities and villages close to the coastal belt in danger.

The government should take immediate steps to resolve all these problems.
