Seminar on goal achievement

KARACHI, July 7: The Southern Regional Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) organized a seminar on ‘goal achievement and stress management’, an ICAP (SRC) press release issued on Monday said.

It stated that the seminar was conducted by Prof Dr Moiz Hussain, who highlighted various causes, symptoms and types of stress.

“The participants also enjoyed the practical session of relaxation and breathing exercises to relieve stress,” said the press statement, adding that Dr. Moiz also said that goal achievement was a very important factor for reducing stress in daily life and in working situations.

He said: “Setting clear and specific goals, removing obstacles that are holding us back, unlocking the power of sub conscious mind, making step by step plans of actions, are all key factors for a successful corporate life”.

Vice-President of the Employers’ Federation of Pakistan and Skill Development Council, Karachi, Mr. Ahsan Ullah Khan, who is also Director at Shahsons (Pvt) Limited was the session chairman & chief guest of the seminar.
