KARACHI, July 5: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has banned the movement of heavy vehicles in the limits of city government from 7.00am to 9.00am and 6.00pm to 8.30pm with immediate effect for seven days under Section-144 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
In a notification issued on Friday, he said the decision was taken, while keeping in view the frequent fatal accidents in the metropolis due to the movement of heavy vehicles, which often created violence.—PPI
