KARACHI, July 4: Forty three probables will be featuring in the two-day trials to pick 20-member Pakistan Junior squad for the upcoming tour of Europe, commence at Pakistan Steel Township from Saturday.

Chief of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) General Muhammad Aziz Khan will watch the trials with chief selector Akhtar Rasool and other members of the selection committee.

Pakistan juniors team during their tour to Europe will participate in four-nation event in Spain and eight-antion contest in Poland besides playing Test matches in France and also involve Test series with Spain and Poland.

Gen Aziz will announced the team on Sunday (July 6) after the second rounds of the trials.

Besides 20 players, eight standbys will be picked to continue their training till their departure for Spain on July 21.

Former Olympian Asif Bjawa is coach of the team.

Following 43 boys will be appearing in the trials.
