KARACHI, June 27: The committee of the City Council, constituted to consider the city government’s budget for fiscal 2003-04, continued its session till late Friday evening.

A large number of council members have submitted their proposals for amendments in the budget and these are now under consideration of the committee.

Keeping in view the interest being shown by the council members, the committee is likely to continue its sitting on Saturday. The committee comprises Engr Abdul Aziz, Saeed Ghani, Jafar-ul-Hasan and Siddiq Rathore, who listened to the council members individually and considered their proposals.—APP
