CHITRAL, June 23: The hunger strike observed by the clerks of different district departments entered its third day here on Monday.
The protesting clerks hold the district government responsible for curtailing the funds, saying that the devolution of power plan had multiplied the problems of the government employees rather than solving them.
An official of the district finance department said that unnecessary expenditures had been slashed.—Correspondent
