Highwaymen loot cash, valuables

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 11: Highwaymen looted cash and valuables from passengers in broad daylight on Thursday.

Five highwaymen were travelling in a bus making for Hafizabad. They held up the passengers near Ajnianwala and snatched cash, ornaments and other valuables. They also beat conductor and some passengers on resistance and fled firing in the air.

GUNNED DOWN: A man was gunned down over a monetary dispute in Kot Nadim, on Thursday.

Yousaf had reportedly borrowed some money from Arif a few days back. Arif opened fire on Yousaf for his refusal to return the amount, killing him on the spot.
