KARACHI: Goods train escapes accident

KARACHI, Oct 11: A Karachi-bound goods train suffered a jerk when some explosion occurred while the train was moving between Khathian and Detha stations on Hyderabad-Tando Adam Block section on Wednesday morning.

The GK-10 down goods train with empty tank wagons was coming to Karachi from Muzaffargarh. When it was running between Khathian and Detha railway stations, the train had a jerk because of some explosion underneath the track.

However, no damage was caused to the train and it reached Hyderabad safely, railway sources here said.—APP
