After the US attacks on Afghanistan, some of the big private schools, including those run by the missionary bodies, had announced to remain closed for a period ranging two to seven days to avoid any eventuality to their students and staff.
It was learnt that in view of loss of academic time of students due to the volatile law and order situation and suspension of teaching in educational institutions, some of the private schools have asked the students to report on Saturday, which is observed as holiday by most of the private schools.
