KARACHI: NED admission test on Nov 10

KARACHI, Oct 11: The pre-admission entry test at the NED University of Engineering and Technology, for the academic session 2001-2, will be held on November 10, vice chancellor of the university, Engr. Abul Kalam, said on Thursday.

He said that the two and-a-half hours’ test would be based on the HSC syllabus including disciplines such as English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Engr. Kalam pointed out that the number of seats for the coming academic session at the university had been increased to 954 from 860 last year.

Of these, he said, 709 seats were being offered under the merit category, while 120 admissions would be given under the self-finance scheme.

The NED University offers self-finance seat to a candidate against one-time payment of Rs250,000.
