KARACHI, June 12: The Qul of Mr Azhar Ali Malik, chief executive, ICI Pakistan Limited, and chairman of Pakistan PTA Limited, who died on Wednesday, will be held at Bungalow No 29, 9th Street, Phase V, DHA, from 5.30pm to 7pm on Friday.

Mr Malik, 52, was appointed chief executive of ICI Pakistan Limited on January 1, 2002. Prior to that, he was ICI’s chief financial officer.

Mr Malik was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He was a member of the Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board (Wah) and also a non-executive director of Pakistan Steel and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.

He is survived by his wife and two sons.
