KARACHI, June 11: Berthing activity at the wharves on Wednesday was modest owing to delay in arrivals of foreign flag vessels and as a result, four ships were berthed.

The ships, which were berthed included Mar Challenger, MOL Sincerity to unload and load containers, Guang Huaman and Tarpon Santiago, to offload and load containers.

Three ships, Min He, Commo-Jc-Jimenel and Al-Fatem departed on Wednesday, while Kota Intan, Guang Huaman, Al-Manakh, Mar Challenger, Hyundai Advance and Tarpon Santiago are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was also light where a total 39,467 tons of cargo comprising 5,576 tons of export and 33,891 tons of import was handled.

An oil tanker, Keefan carrying 54,000 tons of highspeed diesel along with those whose arrivals were delayed are due on Thursday.
