The Government of Pakistan could help protect the poor by opening Government run food stores , where the prices are controlled / held at reasonable profit margins. It will , of course, require the issue of ID cards to the " POOR" so the rich can't exploit " the poor benefit ". That will surely check the food inflation to some extend. Something to do for the concerned minister busy rather than scratch his posterior , at the same time help the poor.
