RAWALPINDI, June 6: A cashier of a CNG station was looted at gunpoint while two robberies were committed in different parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Friday, police said.

The cashier, Waseem Khan, told Sadiqabad police that he was heading for a bank on Chirah Road to deposit the cash when two robbers intercepted him and snatched Rs49,475 from him at gunpoint.

In another incident, four persons entered the house of Raja Wasim in Sector I-8/1 and deprived the inmates of Rs20,000 in cash and gold ornaments.

Similarly, Nadeem Pervaiz told the Civil Lines police that burglars entered his house during his absence and escaped after looting Rs15,000, gold ornaments, and other valuables.
