Four killed in accident

QUETTA, May 31: Four persons, including two Frontier Corps personnel, were killed and 16 others injured on Saturday night after three vehicles collided with a truck parked in the middle of the road near Kalat, some 150 km south of here.

The driver of the truck was busy removing the fault when a truck coming from Khuzdar collided with the truck, injuring six persons travelling in the truck.

A pick-up, carrying FC personnel, also collided with the stationary truck, killing Aziz Gul and Naib Sobedar Zainda Gul on the spot. Seven other FC troops were injured in the incident.

A third collision occurred half an hour later as a passenger van crashed into the same truck, killing truck driver Jan Mohammad and an unidentified person. Three other person were injured in the third accident.

The injured FC men were later shifted to the CMH, Quetta, while other injured were admitted to the Civil Hospital, Kalat.
