PESHAWAR, May 29: All the divisional cycling associations in the NWFP stand dissolved after formation of the District Governments established under the devolution plan.
This was stated by the gecretary general of NWFP Cycling Association Syed Azhar Ali Shah on Thursday.
He said, in view of the new LG system,the Pakistan Cycling Federation has decided to re-organize the NWFP Cycling Association at Clubs and District levels.
In this connection, he said, the process of registration of cycling clubs has been initiated all over the province immediately and June 15, 2003 has been fixed as the last date for submission of forms.
Conveners have been nominated to look after all the cycling activities in respective zones, he added.
The name of conveners are:
1. Aurangzeb — Hazara and Kohistan zone 2. Sher Afzal — Malakand, Dir and Chitral zone 3. Syed Iftikhar Ali Shah — DI Khan zone 4. Farman Khan — Bannu 5. Abdur Hameed — Kohat zone 6. Sartaj — Mardan and Swabi zone 7. Muhammad Tufail — Peshawar, Nowshera and Charsadda zone.—APP
