PESHAWAR, July 14: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Informa-tion and Public Relations Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led government is committed to bringing about a positive change in the health sector.

He expressed these views while speaking at a meeting of the working group on health department here on Sunday. He said the PTI was founded on the objective to ensure basic life amenities to people at their doorsteps.

Mr Yousafzai urged experts to come forward and suggest proposals so best available health services and treatment could be provided to masses.

Secretary Health Dr Mohammad Fakhr-i-Alam and special assistant to the chief minister Dr Meher Taj Rughani were among those who attended the meeting.

They also delebrated upon the proposals to integrate functioning of the hospitals right from the BHUs to tertiary and teaching hospitals in the province. —APP
