KARACHI, May 20: Abdul Latif Baloch and Shafiuddin Ashraf returned unopposed as president and general secretary, respectively, in the election of the Pakistan Herald Workers Union for 2003-2005.

The election committee announced on Tuesday that all the other office-bearers and members of the managing committee were also elected unopposed.

The names of the office-bearers are: Syed Kamal Pasha (senior vice president), Sadiq Hussain Siddiqui (junior vice president), Mansoor Hussain Siddiqui (joint secretary), Mohammad Ahmad Khan (finance secretary), and Farooq Memon (propaganda secretary).

Those elected on the managing committee are: Azizullah Sharif, Afzal Baloch, Abdus Samad, Mohammad Yusuf Tanoli, Fayyazul Karim, Babar Khan, Yousuf Soomro, Usman Ghani and Abdur Rahim.
