KARACHI, May 20: Six ships carrying containers, general cargo, chemicals and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Kota Wangi, Pu He to unload and load containers and Commo-jo-Jimenez to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Iwato,, Kota Wangi and Mary Ann, while Ibn al-Moataz, Rojarck Naree, Commo-jo-Jimenez and Pu He are expected to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 62,893 tons comprising 13,121 tons of export cargo and 49,772 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Global Paramount, Hyundai Stride and Dubai, to unload and load containers, Southern Imperial, with chemicals, Jo Brevil to load 30,000 tons of molasses and Anker Graeust, to unload and load general cargo.

KARACHI, May 20: A ship, Ocean Korea, carrying iron ore arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Three ships, Contship Chempion, Favorita and Entalina were remained busy in loading/ offloading containers, wheat and edible oil.

Cargo handling activity remained modest as a total tonnage of 28,863 tons comprising 14,877 tons of import cargo and 13,986 tons of export cargo was handled.

Sailing was slow as only one ship, Entalina departed.
