KARACHI, May 12: The University of Karachi on Monday declared the results of MBBS IIIrd professional annual examination-2003, with a pass percentage of 80.47.

The first two positions in the merit list of successful candidates went to male students of the Sindh Medical College, while third position was secured by a female student of the Jinnah Medical College.

Syed Shumile Haider Zaidi, seat no 4794, bagged first position by securing 488 out of 650 marks, while Muhammad Hamid, set no 4745, and Saleha Fatima, seat no 4144, got second and third position by securing 462 and 455 marks respectively.

In all, 896 students appeared in examination of which 721 were declared to have passed. The mark certificates of the candidates are being issued and candidates are directed to collect the same from their respective colleges, said a KU notification.

ENROLMENT FORMS: The examination department of the University of Karachi announced on Monday that those students of BA (Pass) / BSc (Pass)/ BCom and BSc (Home Economics) who could not submit enrolment forms can submit the forms with a late fee of Rs1,000 with normal fee of Rs550 up to May 25, adds PPI.
