ISLAMABAD, May 8: Pakistan on Thursday launched Pak-Britain Trade and Investment Group in London aiming at encouraging greater interaction between the private sectors of both countries.
Official sources in the commerce ministry told Dawn on Thursday that the group would act as counterpart of Pak-Britain Business Advisory Group established in Pakistan after the visit of Prime Minister Tony Blair last year. The trade and investment group has been launched by Commerce Minister Humayoon Akhtar currently in the UK.
The minister also had a meeting with London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He informed the chamber about the facilities available at export processing zones in Pakistan.
