Children's Day is celebrated on various days in many places around the world. International Children's Day is celebrated on June 1 and Universal Children's Day is on November 20. Other countries celebrate a local 'children's day' on other dates. The day is simply set to honour children and minors; the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in the world. Today, 193 states have ratified the CRC.
