QUETTA, April 3: Baloch National Movement’s information secretary Daud Baloch has alleged that an intelligence agency arrested the party’s chairman Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, executive member Lala Munir Baloch and Baloch Republican Party leader Sher Mohammad Baloch in Turbat on Friday.

Daud Baloch said at a press conference that the BNP and BRP leaders had been picked up from the premises of an anti-terrorist court. According to him, Advocate Hasan Asad Baloch was also arrested but released later. Daud Baloch claimed that the detained people were members of the Baloch Qaum Dost committee which was trying to get kidnapped UNHCR official John Solecki freed.—Correspondent
